Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Verdalia helps you care for your houseplants. By using it, you agree to these terms. Verdalia is currently a personal, non-commercial project, so these terms are intentionally short and plain.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Verdalia, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. Please use an email address you can actually receive mail at, so we can help you recover access.
Acceptable use
Use Verdalia to tend your own plants. Don’t try to break, overload, or abuse the service, access other people’s data, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your content
The plants, photos, and notes you add stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you within the app. You can delete your content, or your whole account, at any time.
Availability and no warranty
Verdalia is provided “as is”, with no guarantees of availability or fitness for any purpose. It’s an early-stage hobby project — please don’t rely on it for anything critical. Automated hardware features (such as watering) are designed to fail safe, but you remain responsible for your plants and equipment.
Changes
We may update these terms as the project evolves. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use Verdalia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
