Verdalia
For people who keep plants indoors

Every plant you keep becomes part of a collection.

Verdalia carries the care — watering and feeding that move with the season — and the plants you grow fill an album of species, from common to very rare.

The Android app is a direct APK download. It is not on Google Play yet, so you install it yourself.

Adaptive care

Care that follows the plant, not the calendar.

Verdalia builds each plant’s schedule from what you log, then moves it as the season turns, as the plant’s growth phase changes and according to the hemisphere you live in. You can override any plant by hand.

Record that a plant is struggling and feeding pauses until it recovers — and the app tells you why. Skip a reminder and you can say the reason. After three skips in a row it asks once whether the plant still needs it, instead of reminding you forever.

Assistant access

Tell your assistant. It reaches Verdalia.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Le Chat or Claude Code to your account. They can see your plants and your reminders, and log care you mention in passing — say you watered the fig and it lands in the journal without opening the app.

Shared care

Give someone access to specific plants for a set period while you are away, and it ends on its own. They see only the plants you picked.

Reminders that reach you

A daily care digest, a weekly summary, push notifications, and quiet hours.

Badges and streaks

Quiet milestones for steady care, plus statistics over time.

Wishlist and groups

Keep the species you are hoping to find, and arrange the plants you have into the groups you actually use.

Plants you have lost

Kept in their own record rather than deleted, with everything you learned while you had them.

How we operate

No surprises later.

The free tier, in numbers
  • 5 species of your own
  • 30 photo identifications a month
  • 250 MB of photos

Published here so you know what you are getting before you sign up.

Your data stays yours

Export everything you have logged whenever you want, in a form you can keep. Delete your account and it is really deleted — plants, photos and journal included.

What we are building next

We are working on soil sensors and a small hub for the shelf. They are not finished and not for sale, and Verdalia will always work fully without them.

Start with the plant that brought you here.

Add it, tell Verdalia when you last watered it, and the schedule follows from there.
